Scarlett | Dutchess County Newborn Photographer

Meet Scarlett!  This little pixie was born a month early.  She weighed exactly 6 lbs when she came to my home studio setup, and it was still 6 days before her due date.  Scarlett’s mama found me through Dutchess 3D Imaging, and I was so honored to do newborn portraits for this little one. Also, we found out upon meeting that I actually went to college with her daddy!  Small world, eh?!

That stuffed elephant Scarlett is snuggled up with is actually her heartbeat bear from her ultrasound session with Dutchess 3D Imaging. Posing her there was easy because I simply pushed the button to hear her heartbeat and keep her sleeping soundly.

Being that she entered the world so early, Scarlett slept soundly through our session.  We were able to use several different setups, and get some of the poses that mama requested, like rings on toes, and use some meaningful props, like the gorgeous rosary beads. A very successful session, and I hope to get Scarlett back in front of my camera again when she is older!
